The publication was published accompanying the exhibition curated by Clare Goodwin at Kunstraum Kolin in Zug, Switzerland, 2014 Clare Goodwin’s Museum of the Unwanted is about things left lying around – mostly worthless things that, no longer used, are nevertheless preserves of past life and in front of which we are, as Walter Benjamin puts it, “confronted with the rusted soul”. Her project focuses on the practice of artists who use such objects for their creative work and incorporate them into their aesthetic work.
